Wilford Leighton Jr., 50, of Witten, SD passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:00AM at the Witten Baptist Church in Witten, SD.  Burial will follow in the Winner City Cemetery.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral service on Friday at the Witten Baptist Church.

Wilford Eugene Leighton Jr. was born to Wilford (Bud) Belva Jean Leighton on April 26, 1968.  Junior was a ranch hand, he broke horses and had his own body shop.  His favorite saying was "I'm a jack of all trades and master of none".

Wilford is survived by his parents Bud and Jean, Brenda Vander Walker (Augie) of White River, SD, Vicki Supik (Jim) of Winner, SD Kelly (Jody) Leighton of Colome, SD, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by Bill and Opal Leighton, Ruth and Eldon Sund.
