Obituary

Terami Nespor, 59, of Winner, SD passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at her home in Winner, SD.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Winner Methodist Church in Winner, SD.  Burial will follow in the Winner City Cemetery.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral service.

Terami Sue Frantz was born in Winner, SD on April 7, 1967 to Wesley and Donna (Audiss) Frantz.  She was the third child of five and had the privilege of growing up on the Frantz Family Farm in Ideal, South Dakota.  She, along with her siblings, had the best childhood, being raised along with her cousins, with whom she always remained close.  The memories made, we will always cherish.

Terami attended Star Valley country school for grades K-8 and graduated from Winner High School in May of 1985.  After high school, she attended Nettleton College in Sioux Falls, SD completing the Medical Assistant course in August of 1986.  She started her career working in Ainsworth, NE as a lab tech.  In January of 1987, she accepted a position at the Prairie Medical Clinic in Winner, working for Dr. Tony Berg and Dr. Mary Carpenter as a medical coder.  This year marked her 39th year working in Winner, ending her career working at Winner Regional Clinic as Terami Nespor, CPC, CEMC, MA, CH-CBS.  She and many of her co-workers became close friends, friends that she would have for the rest of her life.

On March, 1991, she married Scott Nespor and together they raised two sons, Izak Scott Nespor and Nickolas Lee Nespor.  Those two boys were the light of her life.  She was so incredibly proud of them both.

In July of 2021, Terami was blessed with her first and only grandson, Callum Wesley.  She never knew how much she could love another little boy until he came along and stole her heart.  Callum was her newest pride and joy, spending all the time she could with him.

Terami took pride in taking care of her home, loved making meals for her family, the summer months and golfing with her family and friends, but her family came first and foremost every day of her life.

In August of 2025, Terami was diagnosed with Stage III Pancreatic Cancer and she fought a long, courageous battle, only to have her life cut short.  She so wished for more time with her family.  We are all so incredibly proud of her and the strength she had during this fight.  We have comfort knowing she is now pain free and resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord.  We know our dad was there to welcome her with open arms and after 29 years, we are confident this was a joyful reunion.

Terami is survived by her sons, Izak (Angy) Nespor, Nick Nespor (Quincy Brandt), her grandson, Callum Wesley, her bonus granddaughters, Baylor and Blayke Murphy, her mother and step father, Donna and Jon Hughes, her siblings, Wendy (Mike) Oolman, Michelle Lovejoy (Danny Bolander), Naomi (Troy) Best, Gerald (Connie) Frantz, Aunt, Marcy Fifield, Uncle and Aunt Jack and Marlene Frantz, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, Callum's mommy, Sami Stickland and special friend Tony Hanig.

She is preceded in death by her father Wesley A. Frantz, her grandparents, Gerald and Lorraine Frantz, Maxine Audiss, and Rodney Audiss, Uncle and Aunt Dick and Donna Frantz, Aunt Della Bolton, Uncle Jack Fifield and cousin Chris Frantz.
