S andra Medicine Eagle, 68, of Mosher, SD passed away at her home on Monday, February 22, 2021.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at the Winner Middle School Gym at 12:00PM.  Burial will follow in the Mosher Advent Episcopal near Mosher, SD.  Wake service will begin on Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at Middle School Gym at 3:00PM.

Sandra Lee (Roubideaux) Medicine Eagle was born on November 21, 1952 near Mosher, SD to Charles and Virginia (Williams) Roubideaux.  She was the 5th of 12 children. Growing up Sandra attended school in Winner, SD and spent her time between Winner in Mosher.

She met her future husband Leonard Medicine Eagle on November 10, 1977. They were married on March 2, 1987 and resided in Winner until 1998  when they moved to Mosher SD. They had 8 children. Early on she worked at the Winner Nursing Home, Adjustment Training Center now known as CCI and also was a GED tutor for Sinte Gleska where she attended classes. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her sisters and  brother and their families during holidays at her mother Virginias. She loved pow wows and driving fast cars but most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren.  They were her pride and joys.  Sandra will be remembered by her big heart, sense of humor, and her love for her family.

Sandra is survived by her Husband Leonard Medicine Eagle 6 of her children:  Stephan Roubideaux of Okreek, SD;  Chris Medicine Eagle of Mission, SD; Alicia Medicine Eagle of Mosher, SD;  Dolly Eagle Star of Pierre, SD; Thomas Roubideaux of Sioux Falls, SD;  Tyrone Andrews of Sioux Falls, SD  many grandchildren 2 sisters Velma Chasing Hawk of Bonesteel SD;  Rebecca Sitting Bear of Winner, SD, aunt Judy Roubideaux and many nieces nephews cousins friends and grandchildren.

Preceding in death by her parents Charles and Virginia (Williams) Roubideaux, brother Timothy Roubideaux, sisters Wilma "Joyce" Roubideaux; Ardith Long Crow;  Clara Roubideaux:  Brothers  Virgil Williams Sr ;  Keith Roubideaux: William "Lester" Roubideaux:  two other infant siblings   Paternal Grandparents Steven and Carrie (Gunhammer) Roubideaux  Maternal grandparents Lincoln and Frances (Ringing Rattling Shield) Williams 2 sons Leon Medicine Eagle Homer Roubideaux her Grandson Hayden Iron Heart;  nephews Clifford "Speedy" Chasing Hawk; Glen Chasing Hawk infant Trevor nieces Tammy Williams Mellissa Roubideax  and Numerous aunts and uncles.
