Ronald Eagle Star, 53, of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the MF Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10:00AM at the Winner Ideal Community Hall in Winner, SD.  Burial will follow in the Mniska Presbyterian Cemetery near Dixon, SD.  Wake service will begin on Monday, September9, 2024, at 12:00PM at the Winner Ideal Community Hall in Winner, SD.

Ronald was born on March 17, 1971 in Winner, South Dakota  to Paul and Tina (Crooked Foot) Eagle Star.

Ronald grew up in Dixon, South Dakota and attended Marty Indian School where he graduated.  He then moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he became a roofing foreman.

He is preceded in death by his parents Paul & Tina Eagle Star, two brothers; Paul Jr. and Donald Eagle Star and 1 sister Paula Eagle Star.

Ronald is survived by his wife Sonya Eagle Star, six children; Cody Tyson, Emma, Eli, Reagan, "Tiny" Ronald and Wade Eagle Star, two step-sons; Kenneth Flowers and Zane (Jeremy) Flowers, one granddaughter Katie Flowers, two sisters; Peggy Two Hearts, and Julie (Wayne) Connot and many nieces and nephews.
