Myron Doyle Eagle Star passed away in Sioux Falls, SD on October 20,2024. There will be a two night wake service held November 13th and November 14th starting at 7 pm at the Winner Ideal Community Hall. With a funeral service beginning Friday November 15th  at 12pm. With a burial to follow directly after in the Ideal cemetery.

Myron was born August 18, 1973 in Rosebud, Sd to Millian Eagle Star and Selma Gilbert (Thelma Eagle Hawk) . Myron spent his younger years living with his grandmother Nanette (Nettie) Swift eagle in Ideal then they later moved to Winner. Myron also lived in Gregory, Wagner, Mitchell. Sisseton, and finally settled down in Sioux Fall.

Myron attended elementary school in Ideal and St. Joes Indian School. During Myron's high school years he attended Flandreau Indian School.

Myron had love and passion for grass dancing, he was always anxious and excited for summertime so he could hit the "Pow Wow Trail".

Myron was the caretaker of his 6 brothers. He would always call them or be sure to check up on them. Myron loved his family dearly; he had always found a way to make friends whom eventually would become family to him. He was always smiling and telling jokes, laughter was his way of life.

Myron met Dennis Gill who became his Hunka Dad. Myron also kept his auntie Vi and his uncle Dean very close in his life. He always made sure they spoke frequently.

Myron is survived by his dad Millian. His brothers Brendon, Travis, Willyon, Galon, Milton, Greg and Cody.  His sisters Natasha, Frieda and Sherry. His uncle Dean Lunderman, also by his aunts Ruth Olson, Zona Turkey, Jewel Wright and one grandmother he loved very much, Irene Skunk. And his daughters Victoria and Wacini Eagle Star.

Myron is preceded in death by his mother Selma (Eagle Hawk) Gilbert. His son Misun Eagle Star. His brothers Leland Fallis and Waylon eagle Star Sr. and sisters Birdie and Rose Eagle Star. Maternal grandparents Clarence "Matt" Eagle Hawk Sr.  and Nanette Swift Eagle. As well as his paternal grandparents Homer Eagle Star and Cora Lever/ Eagle Star.
