Michael Cousins, age 60, of Winner, SD, passed away at his residence in Winner. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 12, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Winner, SD. Burial will follow in the Winner City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 6-7PM at the Catholic Church with a Rosary beginning at 7:00PM. Michael Joseph Cousins was born in Winner, SD on May 30, 1954 to Harold "Buster" Cousins and Mary Ellen Peterson. Mike was a friend, brother, uncle, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a man who lived and loved life. He had many blessings in his life. In August of 1979 he married Rhonda Wancenried and together they had two children, Summer and Amy. Mike enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching his nieces and nephews play ball, spending time with his six grandchildren, and telling jokes to anyone and everyone he came across. Mike always had a smile, a prank up his sleeve, or a rather inappropriate joke to share. Mike will be remembered as a good friend to all who shared his life. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Buster and Mary Cousins, sisters Barbara Lovejoy and Jean Cousins. He is survived by Rhonda Cousins, daughters and son-in-law, Summer and Eric Picha, Amy Clemens and family. Brother--Barry Cousins, sisters--Connie Highrock and family, Alice Morgen and family. Nieces--Nicole Bertram and family, Martie Rino and family, Nephews--Jay Lovejoy and family, Michael Cousins. Grandchildren: Jameson, Oliver, Sam, Westin, Billy, and Addison.
