Mary Weathermon, 88, of Witten, SD passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Gregory Avera Hospital in Gregory, SD.  Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00PM at the Church of the Nazarene in Winner, SD.

Mary was born July 22, 1930 in Mosher, SD to George and Ada Andrews (Richter). Mary graduated from Witten High School in 1948. After she graduated, she went to Business School in Billings, Montana where she met her future husband Mark Weathermon.

After they married, they moved to Casper, WY where they both started working and also started their family. They were blessed with daughter Marlyce, and son Mike. They later moved to Powell, WY before eventually moving to Witten, SD.

Mary loved living in Witten close to her family, and especially close to her only grandchild, Cody, and being able to watch him grow up.

One of Mary's favorite joys were the Holidays and especially Christmas where we could all be together and enjoy all of her beautiful Christmas decorations, and her spirit of Christmas.

One of her favorite holiday traditions was her yearly church Christmas parties, where everyone came to enjoy being together, good food, and fellowship.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sisters and aunt. She was always willing to listen and help anyone in anyway she could. She was a very kind-hearted spirit who was deeply loved and cherished, and will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her daughter Marlyce (Jim) Smith of Witten, son Mike (Debbie) Weathermon of Witten, grandson Cody Weathermon of Watertown, SD sister Georgie (Clinton) Schryver of Swift Current Canada, and many nieces and nephews to love and miss her.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Mark, father George Andrews, mother Ada Richter, step mother Lillian Andrews, step father Howard Richter, brother John Andrews and sister Ollie Andrews.
