Kenneth was born on a homestead near Hamill, Sd on November 24, 1924 to Millian and Ollie (Clark) Kulbel.  He arrived 15 minutes after his twin sister Kathleen.

Kenneth graduated from Colome High School in 1943 where he met the love of his life, Dorothy Shea.  They were married on March 10 th , 1945 and celebrated 70 years of marriage before Dorothy passed away on August 5 th , 2015.  They started their marriage in Dallas, SD where he worked for his brother-in-law at the Dallas Elevator.

Kenneth and Dorothy moved to the family farm in 1947 and farmed until 1976 when they decided to retire and move to Winner.  They purchased land in rural Keystone, SD in 1982 from his father.  They then built their own home and lived in the Black Hills until 2015.  When they moved back to Winner Kenneth and Dorothy enjoyed a long retirement.

He loved to fish and hunt, and always enjoyed a Saturday night dance and a good game of cards.  They were always active in the catholic faith whether they were in Hamill, Winner or Keystone.  Kenneth was a man of many talents, everything had its place, he kept a neat and tidy yard, shop and home.  He always took pride in what he had and it seemed like he could fix anything or at least he would try.

Kenneth is survived by his five children; Allen (Sharon) Kulbel of Brandon, SD, Daniel (Deb) Kulbel of Hill City, SD, Kathleen Kash of Winner, SD, Richard (Theresa) Kulbel, of Yankton, SD and Joan (Jeff) Ziebarth of Vancouver, WA, 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three sisters-in-law; Lugene Kulbel, Mary Shea and Jean Shea.
