Karen Waln, age 65, of Mission, passed away on October 31, 2016 at the Winner Regional Long Term Care Facility. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Father Paul Hall at ST. Thomas Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will be held at a later date. Wake Services will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Friday, November 4, 2016 at Father Paul Hall at ST. Thomas Catholic Church in Mission.

Karen Elizabeth Fuller was born on February 1st 1951 to Howard J. Fuller Sr. and Mary Lou Valandra-Fuller in Igloo, SD. Karen was the eldest of her 8 siblings. She grew up in the Mission area and later married Clarence Waln.

She is survived by three daughters Prairie Rose Gabaldon, Cameron Jean Waln, and Laura Ann Waln; 4 siblings Hal Jason Fuller, Sr., Romena Fuller Salafia, Pauline June Fuller DuBray, and April Lynn Farmer; 12 grandkids Kaycee Jo Menard, Joseph Paul Gabaldon, Jr., Natalia Elaine Burnette, Lyndalou Ashlee Waln-Millard, Sloan Marie Waln-Millard, Nebraska Ann Waln-Millard, Michael Millard, Jr., Mitchell Millard, Ryan Millard, Bailey Elizabeth Bushman, Kailey Rose Bushman, and Cora Jean Bushman; 2 great-grandkids Mahlia Mae Jordan and Zyayna Dillon; and her mother Mary Lou Valandra-Fuller.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Cleveland Waln; father Howard J. Fuller, Sr.; siblings Linda Lou Fuller-Figgins, Howard John Fuller, Jr., Harold Fuller, Sr., Laura Ann Fuller; and grandkids Edward Arnold Menard, Jr. and Katana Cheyenne Menard.
