Juanita M. Kilbourn, age 74, passed away Thursday, November 7th 2024 at her residence in Colome S.D.  Funeral Services will be held Friday November 22nd, 11am at Mason Funeral home in Winner S.D, with a visitation an hour prior. She was born June 21st 1950 in Duluth MN. She was the youngest of 21 children.  At the age of 5 she and her brother Willard were adopted by the Brandts and grew up in Glenville MN.

She married Roy Bremseth in 1969 and they had three children Royce, Gary and Cary.  They later divorced. She later married Gary Kilbourn and together they had a son, Sean "Bo".

In 1979 she received her LPN license.  She worked various jobs throughout the years and at one point owned her own cleaning business.  She along with her children moved throughout the states of Minnesota, South Dakota and Nebraska.

Juanita was dedicated to her children and grandchildren throughout her life.  She spent many years caring for her son Gary who had spina bifida, who passed away in 2009.

Juanita was a "jack of all trades" If there was something to be done she could do it.  She could fix or build anything in the house.  She loved to play the organ, sew, crochet and bake.  She was known for her amazing homemade bread and cinnamon rolls.

Juanita is survived by her children Royce Bremseth, Cary (Justin) Weberg and Sean Kilbourn Sr.  Her grandchildren Garret and Tess Weberg, Alex Leading Cloud, Sean and Rexton Kilbourn and many family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Gary Bremseth and granddaughter Jozlyn Kilbourn.
