Jeriann Finney 87, of Winner, SD passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Winner Long Term Care Facility in Winner, SD.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:30AM at the Winner Methodist Church in Winner, SD.  Burial will follow in the Winner City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Jeriann was born on August 9, 1938 to two wonderful parents, Wayne and Helen Fitzgerald in Mullen, Nebraska.  She had two brothers, Jeff who is five years older and Denny who is five years younger.  She would tell stories about going to California with her family.  Jeriann was very smart and hardworking and that showed in her career as she was an amazing teacher.

She found the love of her life, Frank Finney.  Jeriann and Frank met when she was 15 years old.  They were married and to this union three amazing sons were born; Jeff (Sveta), Jon, Joel (Jana) and four beautiful grandchildren; Jalisa, Jacy, Royce and Vanya.  She also had two great-grandchildren; Skylar and Gemma.

Jeriann loved to spoil the grandchildren rotten with her amazing cooking and candy.  Since the passing of Frank, Jon took great care of Jeriann for two and a half years before she passed surrounded by loved ones in her last few days.

May she find her place with the angels.
