Glenda Ahlman, 73, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Winner, SD passed away on October 25, 2025 in Mesa, Arizona.  Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Colome City Cemetery in Colome, SD.

Glenda was born on December 16, 1951, in Winner, SD.  Due to a blizzard her mother had to be flown to Winner for the birth.  Life magazine even sent a reporter to the ranch to cover the story.

She grew up involved in 4-H and piano lessons.  Glenda graduated from Colome High School in 1970.  During that time, she was involved in cheerleading, band and choir.  In her first year of college, she became very ill and spent months at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

In 1972 she moved to Chula Vista, California.  Glenda worked at several different jobs in the San Diego area.  For a short time, she managed a modeling agency.  She got a CPA license and worked at doing taxes for private clients and friends.

Glenda was married and divorced four times over the years.  She had no offspring.

Glenda is survived by her sisters; Peggy Soper, Sausan Saunders, and Lori Haukaas, along with all her nieces and nephews.
