Ella Martha Ewing, age 94, formerly of Winner SD, passed away at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas, Wyoming on August 28, 2024.   Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 at 10:30AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Winner, SD.  Burial will follow in the Winner City Cemetery.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral service.

Born on July 3, 1930, Ella was preceded in passing by three sisters (Dorothy, Viola, Frieda), two brothers (Herman, Albert) husband Stanley Ewing and son in law Leslie Vrbsky.

Ella grew up on a farm near Colome, SD and later moved to Winner, SD where she graduated from high school and worked at various jobs, primarily in accounting. The family lived in Winner and later moved to the family farm.

Ella was very active with her church, Trinity Lutheran, when she lived in Winner. She loved playing cards and socializing with her many friends.

Ella was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She is survived by daughter Janice Vrbsky of Rapid City, two sons, Ron of Douglas, WY and Monte and (Melanie) of Gobles, MI, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
