Darlene Biggins, 80, of Winner, SD passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Winner Regional Long-Term Care Center in Winner, SD. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 8 ^th , 2019 at 2:00Pm at the First Christian Church in Winner. Burial will follow in the Winner City Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.

Darlene Marie Biggins was born on October 15 ^th , 1938 to Robert and Lillian (Redding) Biggins in Wheeler, SD. She spent her early infant years there until her family moved to Winner, SD.

During her early years, she enjoyed riding her bicycle, traveling with family, watching Western movies and the television show Bonanza. Horses were her favorite animal, and had a special horse named Champ. She spent her later years with her sister, Joyce Herman and family. With that time, she came across many different friends who she enjoyed spending time with. Her sense of humor always made everyone around her laugh. Darlene spent her last years at the Elder Inn, where she enjoyed the company of the different residents and staff.

Darlene is survived by her sister Dianne Doty and brother Darrell Redding; also Nephews; Dan, Tony, and Marty Herman, Steve, Rick (Pam), Barry, Doug (Jill), Rob, Todd, and Shawn Biggins, and Craig (Naomi) Doty, Nieces; Candy, Pam and Chris Biggins, Tannya Doty, Tricia (Ed) Wildman, and Penny (Chad) Herman, as well as great-nieces and nephews.

Darlene is proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillian. Her brothers Robert (Beverly), Thomas (Shirley), Donald (June), sister Joyce (Robert) Herman, sister-in-law Dot Redding, nephew Joe Biggins, and niece Connie Biggins.
