Daphne "Dee" Danzy was a Queen to everyone she knew. She was born in Dallas, TX to her mother Linda. Dee was a strong woman and after she moved away from home. She eventually graduated from business school and became an apartment manager. Now she wasn't just any ole manager. She would lead and manage many apartment complexes. She would revamp all of these from the ground up, making them places people wanted to live and have families. She made safe environments in an unsafe city at the time.

She later also graduated with an associate in human services from Sinte Gleska University, as she always wanted to help people. As she did these amazing things, she also raised three strong children, who eventually became strong adults. Always reminding us and others, "Don't count your chickens until they've hatched." Dee also has two siblings (Teresa & Heth) who she loved dearly and always had a smile or kind words for them. Her niece Izzy whom she was so proud of and loved dearly was always close to her heart and soul. Dee enjoyed being around family and friends but her 9 grandchildren were always her favorite to be around.

Dee passed away on July 23 ^rd with her two sons by her side. Dee is with all of us in our hearts and memories. She is survived by her grandchildren (Chaskè, Cylas, Jacob Jr., Linda, Hilary, Sunni, Kyan, Dougie, and Nyjah), her brother (Heth), sister (Teresa), children (Angel, Jacob Sr., & Callie), mother (Linda), and all her family and friends.
