Daniel Eagle Hawk Jr., 45, of Wagner, South Dakota passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Wagner Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner, South Dakota.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Winner Ideal Community Hall.  Burial will follow in the Holy Spirit Cemetery in Ideal, South Dakota.  A wake service will be held Wednesday October 4th, and Thursday October 5th, at the Winner Ideal Community Hall beginning at 12:00PM.

Daniel Ross Eagle Hawk Jr. was born on March 25, 1978 in Winner, South Dakota to Daniel Ross Eagle Hawk Sr. and Jennifer Joseph.

Daniel attended Ideal School and Winner School.  In Daniel's younger years he traveled to baseball games and pow-wows.  He loved to be outdoors with family and friends, new and old.  He worked on cars and did landscaping and also worked with his uncle on sewer pipes.  Daniel loved his nephew and his grandson.  He was always with them.

Daniel is survived by his mother Jennifer of Marty, SD, sisters; brothers and sisters; Adrian Joseph of Winner, SD Dana Joseph of Marty, SD, Sydney Iron Heart of Sioux Falls, SD,  Darren Joseph of Marty, SD, Derek, Ashley, Todd of Winner, SD Krista DeNoyer of Sioux Falls, SD, Dazey Eagle Hawk of Winner, SD Edith Eagle Hawk of Winner and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Daniel is preceded in death by his Dad Daniel Ross Eagle Hawk Sr., his grandparents Clarence "Matthew" and Lucy (Eagle Star) Eagle Hawk, Roland Joseph and Ruby Thorton, his uncles John Sr.,  Burton Eagle Hawk Sr., LeRoy Eagle Hawk, Orlando Joseph, Will Joseph, Greg Joseph and his sister Danielle Antoine.
