Dale Gardner, 60, of Winner, SD passed away at his home in Winner, SD on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.  Burial was held at the Winner City Cemetery.

Dale was born on April 19, 1962 at the Winner Baptist Hospital.  He attended Winner schools and graduated from Winner High School in 1980.

For a time, he owned his own business in Winner, selling comic books and collector items.  Later he owned a service/gas station in Ethan, South Dakota.  He worked at a few different jobs in Winner as well as helping his father on the farm over the years.

Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family.  He was an avid reader and a collector.

He is survived by his brother Leonard Gardner of Sioux Falls, sister Myra Powell of Carter, SD, also his nieces and nephews Jessica Goehring of Armour, Shane Gardner of Winner, Christopher Powell of Spearfish, Angela Nielsen of Hartford, Joseph Powell of Winner and many good friends.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Almira Gardner of Winner, SD.
