Obituary

Connie Schroeder, 75 of Winner South Dakota passed away at the Winner Nursing home on Sunday, October 20th where she went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior. A celebration of life will be held Friday October 25, 2024 at 3pm for Connie taking place at the Witten Hall. A burial will be held at a later date in the Ideal Cemetery.

Connie was born July 2nd 1949 to Dale Crofutt and Clarice (Dryer) Mason in Winner South Dakota. She was the oldest of 8 siblings. Being the oldest she helped her mom raise them from this they were all very close and would always have each other's backs. In Connies younger days you could find her dancing and singing her favorite songs but especially to Elvis Presley. Even when MS entered her life she wouldn't let it keep her from dancing around in her chair and singing her heart out.

Connie was blessed with three boys, Ray Allen, Todd Allen, and Daniel Hans. She loved her boys very much and her heart was always heavy from missing out on so many years with them. They were the world to her. Later on in life Connie met the love of her life William "Bill" Schroeder. Together they did many things such as run the Carter Store for years, hosted their famous Fourth of July get togethers for all their friends and family but most of all they loved being grandparents. The two were madly in love and together again at last.

Connie is survived by her 3 boys Ray (Linda) Bahm of O'Neill, NE. Todd (Lisa) Bahm of St. Paul MN. Daniel (Jackie) Labs of Round Up, MD. 5 grandchildren Reynaldo Bahm, Christina Bahm, Orion Bahm, Savannah Labs and Dalton Labs. 7 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, her aunt Shirley "PeeWee" Novak, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her parents Clarice and Dale, and her love Bill Schroeder.
