Carl Iron Shooter Jr, age 70, of Winner, passed away on December 17, 2017 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Winner Ideal Community Hall in Winner. Burial will follow at the Winner City Cemetery. Wake Services will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 20 and Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Winner Ideal Community Hall in Winner.

Carl Lee Iron Shooter Jr. born July 13th 1947 in Rosebud South Dakota to Carl Iron Shooter Sr. and Lenora (White Hawk) Iron Shooter. Carl was the youngest of five children. His sisters were Ramona High Rock, Bernice Milk, and Iris Iron Shooter. His brothers Arlington Ringing Shield and Peter Ringing Shield and adopted brother Duane Foote.

Carl attended school at Winner High School. He served his country in the Army from 1968 to 1971.

Carl met Charlotte Brandis and they were married November 29th 1968. Together they had four children. Three girls; Carla, Michelle and Lenora. And they had one son, Carl III.

Carl passed away December 17th 2017 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Proceeding him in death are his parents; Carl Iron Shooter Sr. and Lenora (White Hawk) Iron Shooter. His siblings Ramona High Rock, Bernice Milk, Iris Iron Shooter, Arlington Ringing Shield, and Peter Ringing Shield. His children Carla, Michelle, and Carl III. Grandson James Gullikson.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte Iron Shooter, his daughter Lenora Iron Shooter. His is also survived by his grandchildren Blake Wike, Caydence Night Pipe, Cole Night Pipe, Julian Moran, Duane Iron Shooter, Carla Iron Shooter, Allison Iron Heart, Josiah Old Lodge and many nieces and nephews.
