****UPDATE**** Funeral Services for Bev Biggins have been moved to 2:00 PM WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2ND, 2015 at the First Christian Church. ****UPDATE****

Beverly Biggins, age 82, of Winner passed away on November 25, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the First Christian Church in Winner. Burial will follow at the Winner City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM November 30, 2015 at Mason Funeral Home in Winner.

Beverly May Biggins was born August 4th, 1933 in Bonesteel, SD. She was the daughter of Arthur and Maude (Cline) Kortmeyer. Bev lived in Gregory, Naper, NE and moved to Winner, SD at the age of 10. Her dad was a butter maker at the creamery in the early years. Later he became an expert in the in the construction business

Bev was raised with two brothers, Jack and Harry Kortmeyer, and one sister Donna (Bob) Trego. Bev attended Winner High School where she made lifelong friendships. She married the love of her life, Bob Biggins, on September 28, 1952. Together they had had five children: Steve, Joe, Rick (Pam), Barry (Cindy) and Candy, all of Winner.

Bev was the neighborhood mom to many kids as well as a Cub Scout den mother for many years. You would see her at all of her kids sporting events, she was the official score keeper for all of their baseball/softball games. Bev worked at the soda fountain during her school years, later working at the West Side Market. She started working at the Tripp County Auditors in and 1976 and later transferred to the Tripp County Assessor's Office until her retirement in 1998. After retiring she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxillary.

Grateful for sharing her life are her children Steve, Rick (Pam), Barry (Cindy), and Candy; grandchildren Elizabeth (Dan) Vrbka of Winner, Brad (Teri) of Winner, Desarae (Jason) of Spearfish, Brandon (Cari) of Deerfield, Heather of Omaha, NE, Jonathon of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Courteney Zweibel of Lincoln, NE; her cherished great grandchildren Cameron, Taylor, Trinity, Keygan, Kylah, Isabella, Hunter, and Kyryn; brother Harry Kortmeyer of Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-laws Diane Doty and Darlene Biggins of Winner; and many nephews and nieces.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Arthur and Maude Kortmeyer; her husband Bob; son Joe; daughter-in-law Connie; brother Jack and sister Donna Trego; brothers-in-law Bob Trego, Tom and Don Biggins; sisters-in-law Joyce Herman, Shirley Biggins, and Shirley Kortmeyer.

She will be missed by her family and friends.
