Larry Olson, 64, of Winner, South Dakota passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, July 16 at the Mason Funeral Home in Winner. Burial will be at the Winner Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 5-6 p.m., Thursday, July 15 with public visitation from 6-7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home in Winner.

Larry was born January 19, 1946 in Winner, South Dakota to Stella Hazel (Nelson) Olson and Amiel Olson. He was the fifth child of eight children.

Larry attended Vober and Winner School as child and as an adult he worked at various jobs, many were farming jobs in the area. He loved playing guitar and visiting with family and friends. Larry also enjoyed watching old westerns on TV and being outside.

He is survived by three children: Jami, Chad and Lacey of Nebraska and brothers: Alvin (Arlene) Olson, Winner, South Dakota; Marvin (Beverly) Olson Winner, South Dakota; Donald (Sherry) Olson, Gibbon, Nebraska; and Dale Olson of Winner, South Dakota, two sisters: Lorraine Scadden, Shelton, Nebraska and Carol (Bill) Boerner, Winner, South Dakota, and also by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Stella Olson, father Amiel Olson, and his brother Kenneth Olson.
