Robert “Bob” W. Till, 71, of Wood, SD, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, in Bismarck, ND.

Robert W. Till was born July 10, 1938 in Presho, SD to John L. and Beulah (Kemnitz) Till. He grew up in rural Wood on the family ranch. He graduated from White River High School in 1957. He farmed and ranched with his parents and later took over the operations of the family farm. He owned and operated “Bob’s Auto” and all of the neighbors relied on him for all of their vehicle and machinery repairs.

He loved flying airplanes and helicopters and was an avid hunter. He also enjoyed playing pool and team roping.

Bob is survived by three children; daughters Karen (Tim) Hagen, Bismarck, ND, and Janet (Melvin) Toman, Bad Nation, SD, and one son Russ (Willow) Till of Winner, SD, his grandchildren, Casey, Craig, Lindy, Kelsey, Alex, Justin, Riley, Celina, Alonzo and Catrina, one great grandchild Sydney.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, at Mason Funeral Home in Winner, SD.
